The "Racing Roland"...

Roland the Paddler

A train ride that's fun...

The "Racing Roland" connects the towns of Putbus, Binz, Sellin, Baabe and Göhren. Steam locomotives and carriages, some of which are almost 100 years old, run on the 24.1km-long network. On the narrow-gauge network you can enjoy the beautiful landscape of Rügen while the wind blows around your ears. If you hear a loud whistle and black smoke rising in the sky, then the "Racing Roland" is very close to you.
